If you are looking for a professional tenor recorder, then look no further. Let us introduce you to the Yamaha YRT-304B. It is a resin plastic recorder that is comparable to any similar wood recorder on the market, yet is much more durable and easy to care for. The tone is deep and warm, with full lows and crystal clear highs. This recorder is in the key of C, and the fingering system is that of the Baroque-English system (the most popular fingering system). It has the double holes: D-D Sharp, and the double key: C-C Sharp. This beautiful instrument has a brown finish trimmed in white, and is of a 3-piece design. Included is a thumb rest, care kit, fingering charts, and a carrying case. If you're serious about playing the recorder, then this is a model you should definitely have in your collection!

An optional thumb rest is included with your recorder but has not been attached to the instrument. For your convenience in playing this recorder, you may choose to attach the optional thumb rest where it is most comfortable for you. We recommend attaching the optional thumb rest, using a good quality glue, only after you've played the instrument for a while and know exactly where you will get the most benefit from using the thumb rest. A lot of our customers report that they don't use the thumb rest at all, which is why Yamaha has made the thumb rest an optional accessory.
